Ciao from Milan!

I'm super excited to be back in Italy, the country of vino and gelato, while visiting one if the biggest design events in the world!

The Salone / Milan Furniture Fair / Milan Design week /whatever you want to call it is an annual exhibition showcasing the latest in furniture and design.

The Fuorisalone is a massive exhibition taking place all over the city of Milan at the same time, where many shops and galleries open their doors to show their work and where many brands jump on the bandwagon to exhibit their newest products. And I'm here to explore both.

Here comes a secret, that sounds like a sin for a proper traveller: I love planning my trips!

Whether it's a simple road trip or a couple of months in South East Asia, I will do my research and find out exactly what I want to do, where exactly I want to go and how much it will cost.

Instagram is the perfect place to make people jealous of your beach holiday, to share pictures of puppies or show everyone what an amazing chef you are.

But many great architects and designers also show their inspiration and their work on their feed, which makes the whole thing much more interesting to me.
